This Jules Gautret Pineau Des Charentes Blanc AOC clean, well-balanced, and fruity.  On the nose, you'll experience peach, honey, lime blossom, acacia flower. And on the palate, a delicate flavor of honey, spiced apricot, orange peel and fresh mango which gives it just a slight touch of zest while lending to the elegant intensity. An attractively light, smooth, and subtly spicy Pineau des Charentes with a sweet lift on the finish.

Made by blending 1/4 young Cognac and 3/4 Ugni blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard non-fermented grape juice from the famous Charentes - Haute Saintonge delimited region. Then aged for a minimum of 12 months in oak casks, which gives this Pineau Des Charentes a beautiful barrel-aged character. 

Serve on its own, or chilled from the refrigerator.  Very handy as a base for cocktails. Also excellent with red fruits (strawberries, berries), pastries and chocolate.

An aperitif wine, 17% alc/vol. 750ml

Once opened, Pineau Des Charentes can keep for up to at least 6 months if refrigerated.
