This Lefevre demi-sec cidre is made from the original 200-year-old Lefevre family recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation. Made from 100% fresh-pressed apples, it is a blend of seven different varieties of sweet, bittersweet and acidic cidre apples, each one bringing its own characteristic to the cidre. The cidre is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 45 days, then filtered and pasteurized before being bottled. 73 calories per bottle. 330ML (12 oz.) bottles. 4.9% alc/vol.
Golden amber color with fine bubbles. Aroma of peach, and a hint of straw.
Gentle, sweet taste with a long, dry finish. Serve chilled, in a white wine glass or in a footed beer tulip glass.
At the bar: serve alone or with small plates.
Dresses up lunch: salads, soups, sandwiches.
Delicious with Camembert, brie, and other creamy, triple crème cheeses and goat cheese.
Perfect with dinner: roast pork and chicken dishes.
Bronze medal, Alltech Craft Cider Cup 2016
