French Cider offers only premium products from producers in Normandy and Picardy. The beverages that we carry are personally selected by our founder and CCE, “Chief Cidre/Calvados Enthusiast”, Joan Harkins, for their appeal to the American palate. In fact, many of our cidres, poirés, and Calvados products have never been available in the U.S. before now.
We have relationships with a half-dozen French cidre, poiré, and Calvados producers many of whom have been producing award-winning cidre and Calvados for generations. We import products from the famous Pays D'Auge AOC region, and from the newly awarded AOC Cotentin region. Some of our products are organic and all are 100% natural. What our suppliers all have in common is an incredible passion for the tradition, heritage, and preservation of a unique part of French culture.
Note: We currently sell cidre and poiré online for pre-arranged, in store pick-up only in Seattle's Interbay neighborhood. At checkout, you will be asked to select a pick-up time. We will offer Fedex shipping options to Washington state addresses in just a few weeks and other states shortly after. Our Calvados is currently only offered through retailers and fine restaurants in Washington state, not through online sales.
