1 liter demi-sec cider
5 cloves
2 star anise (ground if you want for more flavor)
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 cinnamon sticks.
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Pour and strain.
